This is also reflected in an export ratio of over 50%. High level of attention is given to the development of new and improved cutting systems. ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik has always been committed to development and research in this area, which is also reflected in the registration of numerous patents and copyrights in the field of cutting units. The “long-stroke double-blade cutting technology” is clear proof that such a traditional product as the cutter bar can undergo a revolutionary re-development. Initiated as a R & D project, today the long stroke technology has become a technical basis for cutting systems which are used particularly to cut tough stalk crops at high speed. This innovation has also undergone patent assessment. As the world leader in double blade technology we place the highest standards on cutting system quality. Cutting units with oscillating mowing technology are characterized by durability, sturdy construction, high-precision and low power consumption. A special focus is the development of such cutting systems, which are suitable for large applications in industrial harvesting.
