A hinged knife guide provides for low maintenance and care requirements. This design also facilitates changing the knives. In addition, the “Universalmähbalken SC” automatically adjusts the guide clearance precisely when the knife guide is folded down. Its slim design makes the “Universalmähbalken SC” very versatile. Special operations in ditches, embankments or on fruit orchards are also easy to carry out. Great emphasis was placed on comfortable handling and making maintenance and service easy to perform, even for the non-specialist. The Universal cutter bar has a standard edge guard, which contributes to safe operation. Environmental protection was taken into account during the design of the “Universalmähbalken SC”.
