BCS

The BCS Group is an Italian company whose business is divided into two main groups: The area of agricultural machinery for soil cultivation and mowing technology (brand name: BCS, FERRARI, PASQUALI) and the industrial machine group (brand name: MOSA). The origin of BCS goes back to the 1940s, when the young engineer Luigi Castoldi opened a small company in the town of Abbiategrasso near Milan. Castoldis' objective was to facilitate the local farmers difficult work with motorized machines. BCS initially designed motorised mowers and other motorized equipment for working the soil and was quickly successful. In 1960 the mowing machine sales figures already exceeded the 100,000 mark since foundation. The following decades meant another strong increase in sales for BCS and a significant expansion of the product range with innovative machines. Today the BCS Group is a multinational operating company, which is represented in over 100 countries. The company employs over 800 people, and the production centres are located in Abbiategrasso, Cusago (Lombardy) and Luzzara (Emilia-Romagna). BCS is run by Fabrizio Castoldi, the son of the company founder. Research and optimization of all product lines continues to be a key part of the company orientation. Another focus is on the continuous improvement of safety and environmental protection in all areas. The motor mower product sector that already contributed to the success of BCS at the foundation of the company, is still an important product sector. BCS motorised mowers are available in different versions for specific mowing applications. Performance, reliability, safety and comfort have been optimized in all models in the series.
