Finger bars

Finger bars are used particularly in the agriculture. Oscillating cutting works with fingers are the classic working device when it comes to a clean cut in feed production and pruning of vegetation. Therefore they are often used for harvesting hay and other feed. An advantage of this mower is its slim and lightweight design and the associated flexible applicability. The sturdy design of the ESM finger bar (patented Carbodux® knife blades) makes them perfectly suitable for professional use. Low energy consumption and comfortable handling make the finger bar a reliable working tool. They make fatigue-free working and high area capacity possible under challenging conditions. The finger bar also cuts long grass effortlessly. The slender fingers provide for optimum crop feed and the long service life ensures efficient and profitable mowing. Finger bars, whether with single or double fingers, protect small animals, since the oscillating mowing movement provides them with an opportunity to escape. The long stroke finger bar from ESM reaches a mowing speed of 3.2 to 3.6 km/h and the short stroke finger bar from 2.8 to 3.3 km/h. The power consumption per 1 meter cutting width is from 2.5 to 3.0 kW for the long stroke and the short stroke. The safety, maintenance and assembly instructions for the ESM finger bar are to be observed during operation and knife replacement. This includes compliance with the prescribed conditions for safety, disassembly, commissioning and maintenance. Responsible handling of the cutting device is also a requirement. It is only under these conditions that the cutting system advantages and guarantees can be assured. The ESM cutting system with finger bar must only be used for the intended applications. Mowing device of this type are only suitable for work in agriculture and forestry, as well as communal mowing and for the extensive landscaping. If the cutting system is to be used in the vertical position, the guidelines of the specific operating instructions are to be observed. Any use beyond those recommended by the Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik are not intended use.
