Finger cutter bar

Finger cutters, which are traditionally found in the field of oscillating mowing are preferred for use in feed cutting in agriculture. The ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik product range comprises the finger bar designs “Free cut” and “Medium cut”. The cutting systems are equipped with the patented ESM Carbodux® knife blades and designed for professional use. Both finger cutter bar models are easy to maintain and easy to handle. Blade change is made quick and easy using the hinged knife holder near the mulching fingers. The guide clearance is automatically adjusted by simply folding down the knife holder and tightening the clamping screws. The ESM finger cutter bar's slim design makes it compatible for various mowing applications; it is ideally suited for clean feed cutting in agriculture. The working width for long and short stroke is 1.32 m to 1.92 m. Choosing the right finger pitch depends on the operating conditions. The “normal cut” version has a finger pitch of 76.2 mm, and the “medium cut” version has a finger pitch of 50.8 mm. The “free cut” version is in increasing demand and increasingly used in recent years. This special finger cutter bar design features fingers with tips and lips in the middle area and a series of mulching fingers instead of external shoes. This prevents clogging when moving through previously mowed clippings. The finger cutter bar from ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik is optionally available with outer shoes with swath plates for optimal swath formation. The finger cutter bars are very versatile due to their various drive and mounting options. In the area of feed recovery, oscillating mowing technology is at least equal to other mowing technologies.
