Whether a finger cutter bar with medium cut or free cut is selected depends on the specific requirements placed on the cutting system. ESM always develops solutions that are individually tailored to the customers' needs. As with any product, the ESM free cut cutter bar assembly and user instructions should also be observed to achieve the best mowing result. Every user must first read the safety instructions that make themselves familiar with the design and the maintenance and assembly requirements of each cutting system type. The general Instructions for use for the ESM finger bar also apply to the free cut finger bar. When assembling a finger bar cutting system from ESM with other components, the assembly and safety requirements in the operating instructions for the “entire machine” must be integrated. Always ensure that when mounting the free cut version cutting system, it is only fixed to the mower drive at those points which have been expressly agreed upon between ESM and the respective equipment manufacturer. If there is a deviation from these requirements, the machine manufacturer of the final product is responsible for all requirements relating to mounting and operating safety and is responsible for supplying detailed installation instructions. In addition to the other general finger bar requirements, the free cut version specific installation regulations for the knife guide are to be observed. A standard adjustment is required after each loosening of the fixing screws. Use considerable caution when removing and installing knives, and must protective gloves must be worn.
