Frielinghaus GmbH is a traditional manufacturer of mower blades and agricultural machinery parts, headquartered in Ennepetal in North Rhine-Westphalia. The company's history dates back to 1867. In this year the sheep shear blacksmith Carl Theodor Frielinghaus started his own business and thus laid the foundation for the present day company. As early as 1905 harvest machine parts were added to the Frielinghaus program and thus created the basis for the current production. In the 1960s, Frielinghaus began a process of renewal and expansion. New building with modern production equipment gradually replaced the existing inventory. The company has grown successively and expanded its product range. As part of this expansion, companies or parts of other brands are taken over. In 1993, the company BUSATIS, Hückeswagen was taken over by Frielinghaus and ESM Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik. Both companies benefited from these acquisitions and expanded their production in the direction of professional mowing knives and mowing blades. Frielinghaus GmbH is an innovative developer and manufacturer of knives and technologies for professional agricultural. The product range includes blades and knives for many different applications in agriculture and horticulture. The complex production process of the mowing knife blade production: Punching, grinding and milling, stamping and forging, heat treatment and coating is carried out at the site in Ennepetal. The in-house laboratory ensures a comprehensive quality assurance: Analogue and digital microscopes and other test and measurement equipment ensure the high standards that Frielinghaus sets for its products. This includes the fulfilment of the requirements for a quality management system according to EN ISO: 9001. By labelling its products and corresponding documentation, Frielinghaus has achieved traceability of up to ten years. Along with, ESM which is also based in Ennepetal, Frielinghaus is a professional manufacturer of high quality mowing blades and cutting elements. Both company are characterized by an innovative spirit that always pushes continuous improvements and developments and sets new standards in professional mowing and harvesting equipment.
