Mowing

Mowing meadow can be a real challenge. Next to the size of the area to be mowed and the height of the vegetation, the terrain conditions also play a role. The amount of work involved in mowing a larger area should not be underestimated. Here it is important to ensure that the area is mowed regularly. If the area is not mowed, the meadow will quickly turn into a thicket, which cannot be handled so easily with a mower. For this reason it is recommended to mow larger meadows two or three times a season. This ensures that the grass remains at a height and density that makes mowing with a suitable mower possible. The mowing system that best suits your requirements must be selected individually. The question of whether the clippings should remain on the field, or if the grass is to be collected after mowing and used for other purposes is also of relevance. For this it is important to know the advantages and disadvantages of each method and to decide which type of mowing makes the most sense. The question of whether a mulching mower is to be used must also to be clarified.
