Double blades

The cutting elements of a mowing mechanism and double blades on a cutter bar exposed to high loads. Contact with foreign objects can cause damage to the double blades. As a traditional manufacturer of oscillating mowing technology, Ennepetaler Schneid- und Mähtechnik has been active in the development of new and more efficient materials for decades. One result of this development was the manufacture of knife blades in the Carbodux process. This method, which is also used in the production of double blades significantly increases the service life of the mower. Double blades which are not produced with the Carbodux process are more prone to damage and blunting. Regrinding or replacing the blades is frequently necessary, otherwise a clean cut and satisfactory crop yields can not be guaranteed. The use of Carbodux double blades means significant performance improvements and reduced maintenance requirements. Double blade were developed and introduced in the field of oscillating mowing technology by ESM. This represented a significant advance in the field of professional mowing. The result of the double blade introduction by ESM was that the double blade principle was copied by almost all manufacturers. Double blades and other blades types from ESM are significantly less vulnerable to damage from contact with rocks or other hard objects than products from other manufacturers. Carbodux double blades are used in many mowers with ESM technology. If a double knife blade needs to be replaced, an ESM product should be used. We recommend not using imitation products from other manufacturers. There, ESM quality standards can not be guaranteed.
